We Had Vegan Vietnamese Food and Great Catching Up

Yesterday, I met with my longtime friend Shashi. We’ve known each other for maybe 10 years or more. He was very instrumental into introducing me to the many small business influencers and thought leaders I know today. He lives in the DC area and I’m in New Jersey.

Why am I sharing this with you?

Sometimes we get so caught up in meeting on Zoom, on X, or just being happy with a Facebook Like, that we forget to build or maintain genuine relationships.

I was in Virginia with a client, and I reached out to meet up with Shashi.

Yes we had a good time just “catching up”. But guess what? He gave me some great ideas to help with my business.
