Do you have a personal social page and a business social page? Why?

A friend of mine was sharing something on her personal page about her birthday and life's challenges.

As I was listening to her, I was like, I'd have shared that on my "business page" as well.

I'm curious, do you have a clear line between your personal page or life and your business page or life on social.

For me there's only ONE version of Ramon that the public will ever see.

I do have MANY What's App groups for my family.

Cousins, mom, sisters, church stuff, youth group, etc. However, that's literally super personal and super private and literally for PERSONAL STUFF not for my much larger “business” world.

However, when I share something like, "I'm tired" "I'm struggling" or here's a "win" it goes on social as that is "personal" but it's part of my personal brand to share it.

For those who started Facebook or other platforms as literally a place for just CLOSE FRIENDS I get it.

But today, sharing your favorite recipe is personal and it does show the personal side of your life. But it’s also great to share on your business page.

Getting a bit personal on a regular basis, humanizes your brand and makes you even more approachable.

Recently another friend of mine, Cassandra Wilcox shared the challenges she had in having a newborn baby and leaving the baby home to go build her empire of helping craft people build their craft business. I saw it, so yeah it was "personal" but she shared it for us all to learn and empathize with her.

So what about you? Do you keep PERSONAL literally PERSONAL only or do you mix it, like I do and ALL your social profiles are open for all and lead to your BUSINESS?
