Real Question, am I Wrong in Saying No to Future Mentees?

I’m often asked by aspiring or existing business owners to mentor them, I always say no, but I’m wondering if I’m wrong.

My no is not MEAN, but let me explain.

They see something in my which they aspire to, and I’m grateful.

However, for me, mentorship is VERY personal, is very 1 on 1, I’ve got to LIKE YOU and just want to “vibe” with you.

Can you call me every now and then with a question? Sure

Can we meetup if I’m in your town? Maybe.

Can you buy my $16.53 book, The Celebrity CEO, on Amazon? Yes.

Can you get tons of free resources from me? Yes. Like this one or this one or even this one ? Yes.

Can you attend one of my events or attend a webinar or listen to a podcast? Yes.

However mentorship, it’s just different. Most likely we’re friends. We already talk quite a bit, maybe we’re even in the same circles.

I “mentor” a few young guys, that’s what THEY say, but it’s not mentorship to me. These are just younger guys who I care about and want to see the best in their careers, marriages, families and more.
