If You’re Not into Video, You Should Be

Not because Harris or Trump popularized video in the last few weeks, but maybe.

Video podcasts, much more than audio is on the rise according to the Wall Street Journal and this will only increase.

Yes, traditional “audio only” podcasts are nice, but people want to SEE the people talking too.

On a plane or when driving, a podcast can still be heard. But there’s nothing that beats the power of human connection quite like video, when you can’t see it in person.

I hear from so many people that they “see me” much more.

What’s ironic is that these folks are not all watching my show but they see the notifications.

Producing Video Isn’t Complicated

Producing a good video podcast isn’t that hard. You can do it via Zoom, Restream, Streamyard or other platforms.

You can speak solo as I do on my daily show, The Rundown with Ramon, you can interview one other person, or you can have a roundtable of others, as I do on Fridays with my Small Business Trends Show.

Have good light and good audio and that’s about it. I use this Samson podcast mic and this Logitech Brio camera for great video capture.

YouTube podcast, Spotify or other platforms can help you host your podcast.

Remember, email me back and say hi - I’m a real human!
